Beth over at Limebird Writers nominated me with the One Lovely Blog Award!

Thank you Beth!

Apparently, there aren’t any rules for this award. So, I am going to turn around and present this award to 5 of the top commenters on my blog. (After scouting through my top 30 commenters, I found that many of them have already received this award. So, a couple of my nominees are fairly new commenters on my blog, but as far as I can tell have not received this award.)
http://fhhakansson.com/ Very cool sci-fi writer and awesome poet. He even dances! It is because of Fredrik that I have any followers at all. It’s true, buddy.
http://chickdickmysteries.com/ Love, love, love this gal. I wish she lived closer to me because I think we’d have a rip-roaring good time buying shoes and talking shop. I’d even introduce her to a wolf or two.
http://patbean.wordpress.com/ I cannot get over this woman and the beauty and peace she brings into my life through her photos and her posts.
http://rickbudashead.wordpress.com/ I truly appreciate his comments on my posts as he is always thanking me for helping him write. I can’t think of anything better in this writing gig than to hear that I have inspired or helped someone.
http://spookymrsgreen.wordpress.com/ We’ve only just met, but I have enjoyed exchanging comments over blogging, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Quite an interesting woman.
Huzzah!
Wow thank you!
You’re quite welcome!
Awesome, and thanks for introducing me to some new blogs, I’ll make sure to check them out!
Nancy
You’re welcome, Nancy! Good, let me know if you find something that knocks your socks off!
Congratulations
Thanks, Neeks!
Thanks you. As writers we put our words out to the world, most times thinking they’re not good enough. We question our worth because we’re not writing like Isabelle Allende or Maya Angelou or any best-seller of the day. Being recognized helps soothe our anxieties, and makes the writing, which we have to do even though we sometimes think it’s worthless, count for something. You are most kind. Your award was a great start to my day.
Aww, I’m so glad, Pat. It’s true how easy it is to feel unappreciated especially when writing is a daily struggle. That’s the reason I enjoy these awards because they do uplift spirits.
Well done, and richly deserved. Will find time (haha) to explore those links! Paul
Yay! Let me know if you find something interesting!
Why thank you! You do help inspire, and others that comment do as well. So much that (if you follow my mad rambling blogs) I have decided to resurrect my first completed novel and get about publishing it. This was the book I wanted to publish but ended up doing WolfPointe to get published to break the ice for a much larger novel (the risen from the dead) Starshot. So wish me luck and not too many sleepless nights. And the very best to you!
Hello there, Rick! Yes, I enjoy your mad ramblings because you’re at least aiming for something and it sounds like you’re enjoying the process–which is really the most important piece here.
Good luck!
I wrote about the award and posted one of my own on today’s blog. You inspired me to do so. And I’m going to do it daily.
You’re the beans, Pat Bean. I will be sure to hop over and take a look…
Congrats
Going to have fun checking out some of these blogs.
Hi Ottabelle,
Thank you! Let me know if you find a blog extra super!
Thank you so much and congratulations yourself! Your words mean a lot to me
And I’m sure you would have a lot of readers even if it wasn’t for me
You’re very welcome, Fredrik. No, I believe you have a lot to do with getting me recognized beyond my four little walls virtual-style.
Congrats! You have quite a lovely blog.
Aww, thanks Kourtney!
