Limits are an interesting thing. You can, often, think you have reached them, then you find the strength to try one more time.
I learned during rehab and since that you can do much more than you think you can. Just don’t give up.

I really don’t think there is anything so bad as seeing our children like that. I would have needed several bathroom moments. Keep going. As you said, you can handle it.

Yeah, no fun at all. I think you’re right. Nothing is worse than seeing your children suffering. Just 5 more days and we should get the go-ahead for him to run around and play. We’re very excited about that.

Actually, I was in shock. I see someone for energy medicine (alternative therapy for my arthritis), and she tested me and said I was in shock. I’m better now because she helped me through it, but it explains a lot of why I was in the zone of maintaining the requirements for daily living, and nothing more than that.

The situation with your son sounds terrifying. I’m glad he pulled through. How did the doctor react?

Oh my goodness – my stomach turned over when I read that – thank heavens he is recovering. For me personally, writing rejection is nothing compared to that.
